We made it!

We're in Valparaíso. It's beautiful here. Only downside? Everything is closed today because it's national presidential election day...

    I tried to post a comment earlier, but it doesn't appear to be there. Call me a Luddite, if you will. In any event, until I heard about the elections on the radio, I assumed that the country was shut down in celebration of your arrival.

    At $26,000/night, I imagine that you're in a lovely spot--World heritage site, the "jewel of the Pacific"--what a way to relax.
